Two teen siblings have developed a new app called "notOK". Using your phone, it allows the user to contact up to 5 people they designate if they find themselves in a crisis situation.
One of the siblings suffered from fainting spells and depression. Its development was spurred by an incident in which their mother found her daughter with a bottle of prescription blood pressure pills taken from their father. The daughter said didn't know what to do or how to reach out for help when she was really depressed.
#notOK is available for iOS devices at the App Store.
